(Baonhean.vn)-On November 26, the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district received 127.05 tons of rice to support students in extremely disadvantaged areas.

According to Decision 36/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, students in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions are supported with rice. The recipients of rice are students whose homes are 7km or more away from school and cannot return home during the day.

In this support, Que Phong received 127.5 tons of rice.

Accordingly, in the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year, Que Phong district has 2,614 students who are eligible to receive rice with a support level of 15kg/1 student/month, and will be supported for 5 months. The entire district is supported with more than 196 tons of rice.

After receiving, Que Phong High School distributed rice to students.

Among the 12 schools whose students received rice support, Tri Le Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities received the most with 39.324 tons, and Que Phong High School received 37.7 tons. Previously, in September, the District Education and Training Department received and allocated an advance of 69 tons of rice, this time Que Phong district received an additional 127.05 tons.

Immediately after receiving the rice, the Department of Education and Training of Que Phong district implemented the distribution to 12 schools, striving to complete the distribution of rice to students as soon as possible.
