Que Phong organizes Population Propagandists Festival
(Baonghean.vn) -Towards World Population Day (July 11) and National Action Month on Population 2012, today June 19, Que Phong District People's Committee organized the 2012 Population Propaganda Festival.
The festival is attended by full-time staff, population collaborators, health station staff, and members of the steering committee for population and family planning in communes and towns in the district. The teams compete in a theatrical format with 3 parts: greeting, knowledge, and talent.
Talent competition of Tri Le commune team
The contest sends the audience a message of a prosperous and happy society, where children are educated, cared for by their families and society thanks to good implementation of population and family planning work. Society must change and raise awareness about population, promote not having a third child, and use safe and effective contraceptive methods. Many plays at the Festival criticize misconceptions about gender with profound humanism.
After a day of exciting competition, 13 competing teams brought to the audience many attractive stage skits, imbued with the cultural identity of the mountainous region of Que Phong.
Results: first prize for the collective belongs to Kim Son town unit; second prize belongs to Muong Noc commune unit; third prize belongs to the commune units: Que Son, Tri Le, Hanh Dich and 8 consolation prizes.

In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 3 prizes: "Best greeting" to Hanh Dich commune team; "Best understanding" to Kim Son town team and "Best talent" to Muong Noc commune team.
