(Baonghean.vn) - National Highway 48, the section passing through Mong village, Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district (Nghe An) has recently experienced serious landslides.

According to observations, the landslide area is about 30m long, the landslide point is deep into the roadbed. The cause was determined to be due to heavy rain, water from the irrigation canal of Mong village overflowed onto the road, causing erosion and landslides.

Although the authorities have stretched ropes and temporarily placed stakes to warn passing vehicles, this is a winding, steep road, with a high mountain on one side and a deep abyss on the other, so it is still potentially dangerous for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

We hope that the authorities will soon check and handle the above situation promptly, especially as the rainy season is approaching.
