(Baongehan.vn) -National Highway 48B, running through Quynh Luu District, is an important traffic route in the north of Nghe An Province. On average, every day, there are about 1,000 cars and motorbikes traveling from the mountains to the plains and vice versa on this highway. However, this route is currently in serious disrepair.
Due to the heavy traffic volume, in addition to the oversized and overloaded vehicles that are rampant day and night, this road has deteriorated. At km 25, the section through Tuan town, Quynh Chau commune, many potholes have created huge holes in the middle of the road, making it very difficult for vehicles to travel. On the other hand, due to the damaged road and narrow roadway, many serious and fatal traffic accidents have occurred on this vital route in the past.
