Quarter 1: More than 23 thousand workers go to work abroad
The Department of Overseas Labor Management said that in the first quarter of this year, the total number of Vietnamese workers working abroad was 23,277 people. Of these, more than 9,000 were female workers.

Data compiled from businesses shows that the number of workers going to work abroad in March this year reached 9,346 people.
Some major markets attracting many domestic workers are Taiwan: 5,268 people, Japan: 1,156 people, South Korea: 465 people, Malaysia: 442 people, UAE: 245 people, Saudi Arabia: 336 people...
In addition, some other markets are also open to Vietnamese workers such as Singapore, Libya, Macao, Belarus...
It is known that this year, the target of the labor export sector is 90 thousand people, an increase of 2,000 people compared to last year.
