'Lady' hiding 6 heroin cakes in a duck egg carton to sell was arrested

On July 1, Tay Ho District Police (Hanoi) prosecuted Quang Thi Kim (31 years old), Luong Van Thu (24 years old), Lo Van Hung (27 years old) and more than 10 others to investigate the crime.Illegal drug trafficking.

Kim confessed that on the morning of May 30, she called Thu and ordered 6 heroin cakes. Thu then contacted Hung to get the "goods". In the Thanh Chan area (Dien Bien province), Hung connected with a drug supplier and agreed to deposit 130 million VND per heroin cake.

Kim transferred 400 million VND to Thu via bank account to give to the contact. That same afternoon, Kim was informed that he had successfully traded 6 heroin cakes and nearly 200 ecstasy pills.

To deal with the authorities, Kim asked Hung and Thu to disguise drugs in boxes of duck eggs and rice husks to ship to Hanoi for him.

On the morning of June 2, she went to My Dinh bus station to receive a carton of duck eggs, hidden inside were drugs shipped from Dien Bien. When she brought the box of drugs from the taxi into the house, she was caught red-handed by the police.

Authorities seized a total of more than 800 ecstasy pills from Kim, along with 6 heroin cakes, weighing over 2 kg.
