According to the report of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), before the time of adjusting gasoline prices (3:00 p.m. on July 20), the estimated amount of gasoline price stabilization fund (BOG) formed by this enterprise was 1,350 billion VND (One thousand three hundred and fifty billion VND).

Thus, compared to the most recent announcement (July 4) of 1,340 billion VND, Petrolimex's Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund has increased by 10 billion VND.

Previously, in the document announcing the base price of gasoline products issued on July 20, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance requested key enterprises to reduce the price of Ron 92 gasoline by 260 VND per liter, while the reduction for E5 gasoline was 425 VND per liter.

In addition, the price of 0.05S diesel also decreased by VND1,112/liter, kerosene decreased by VND1,128/liter, and 3.5S fuel oil decreased by VND872/kg.

Along with the above decision, the joint ministries requested the key enterprises to keep the stabilization fund allocation level for gasoline at 300 VND/liter while for E5 bio-fuel it is 0 VND/liter. Regarding the expenditure of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG), the joint ministries requested to bring it down to 0 VND/liter.

In the most recent adjustment (July 4), after setting aside a price stabilization fund of VND300 for gasoline and VND0/liter for E5 gasoline, and using the price stabilization fund for mineral gasoline at VND527/liter and E5 gasoline at VND362/liter, the price of RON 92 gasoline and E5 gasoline decreased by VND331/liter while the price of oil products also decreased by VND221-424/liter, kg.

In total, in the two most recent adjustments, the price of Ron 92 gasoline has decreased by 591 VND/liter./.
