Quy Chau: 46 million incense sticks for Lunar New Year

(Baonghean.vn) - This is the expected output for the whole year 2015, calculated by the Department of Industry and Trade, People's Committee of Quy Chau district based on the capacity of production facilities in the area.

Of these total products, 46/49 million agarwood sticks were produced to serve the 2016 Binh Than Tet market. The production value of the agarwood industry reached nearly 20 billion VND, creating regular jobs for over 500 workers, with an average income of about 35 million VND/person/year.

In Quy Chau area, there are currently nearly 100 hectares of agarwood roots, actively contributing to providing 1/3 of raw materials for the district's agarwood industry.
