Quy Chau elects key positions of the District People's Council and People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 4, the People's Council of Quy Chau district, term XIX, 2016-2021, held its first session to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district.

Attending were comrades Ho Dang Tai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Tran Quoc Chung - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Home Affairs.

Mr. Ngo Duc Thuan - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates were informed of the election results of the People's Council of Quy Chau district for the 2016-2021 term; the report confirming the qualifications of the 19th term People's Council delegates for the 2016-2021 term; the District Fatherland Front Committee announced the synthesis of voters' opinions and recommendations at meetings with candidates for the District People's Council; approved the submissions and elected the positions of the District People's Council and People's Committee.

Delegates voted to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of Quy Chau district.

As a result, Mr. Lang Van Chien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, term XVIII, was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Council, term XIX, 2016 - 2021; Mr. Lo Thanh Luan - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Mr. Vi Van Tien - Member of the District Party Committee were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Quy Chau District People's Council, term XIX; Mr. Ngo Duc Thuan was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai and Le Thanh Ha held the position of Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee, term 2016-2021.

Mr. Lang Quoc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Mr. Ngo Duc Thuan - Chairman of the District People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the heads and deputy heads of the District People's Council.

Mr. Lang Quoc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Mr. Lo Thanh Luan - Vice Chairman of the District People's Council presented flowers to congratulate the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and members of the District People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

Also at the meeting, the head and deputy head of the Ethnic Committee, the Legal Committee, and the Economic - Social Committee of the District People's Council for the 2016 - 2021 term were elected. 14 members of the District People's Committee and 21 members of the People's Jury of the District People's Court were elected.
