Quy Chau: Over 2 billion VND paid to support land reclamation and restoration for farmers

The total supported area is 270 hectares, of which 140 hectares are reclaimed land and 130 hectares are restored land with a total cost of over 2 billion VND. Specifically, each hectare of reclaimed land is supported with 10 million VND and 5 million VND/ha for restored land. In addition to cash support, households also receive fertilizer support at the rate of 1.5 tons/ha.
According to the plan, in 2013, Quy Chau district will continue to support farmers with 300 hectares of reclaimed land and 100 hectares of restored land with a total estimated cost of over 4 billion VND. The district People's Committee is continuing to direct functional departments and offices to conduct surveys, determine the needs and capacity of the people to support, and at the same time organize propaganda so that everyone understands the meaning of the program, thereby using land for the right purpose and effectively.
