Quy Chau: Starting construction of power line to Chau Phong commune

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 25, 2015, Quy Chau district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the power system project in Chau Phong commune.

The project of the power grid system to Chau Phong commune includes 15.9 km of 35 KV line connected from the 35 KV line of Nam Pong Hydropower Plant, with 9 transformer stations with a total capacity of 1500 KVA, 21.9 km of 04 KV line. The total construction cost of the project is nearly 50 billion VND, of which construction and installation is over 40 billion VND. The capital source is according to Decision 293 QD/TTg of the Prime Minister and capital from a number of other programs. The district People's Committee is the investor, Hoang Anh Investment and Construction Company Limited, Nghi Loc district is the contractor. Construction time is under 9 months.

District leaders and contractors started construction

In the immediate future, the district will focus on bringing the grid to the commune center with a 35KV power line package and a central transformer station with a capital of nearly 15 billion VND. The district directs the sectors, localities and people to donate land, trees and crops, and hand over the clean site as soon as possible so that the construction unit can ensure progress and meet the enjoyment needs of the people.

Quy Chau district has had electricity grid since 1996, but up to now there are still 3 communes without electricity, namely Chau Phong, Chau Hoan, Dien Lam. The goal in 2015 is for these 3 communes to have national electricity grid, completing the targets of the resolution of the 24th district party congress, making achievements to welcome party congresses at all levels. Building an electricity system in Chau Phong commune is not only to meet the expectations of the people here but also the common joy of the party committee and people of Quy Chau district./.
