(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, February 14, 2013 (the 5th day of Tet), at Toong Ke field (Dong Ke), Dong Minh village, Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau district People's Committee organized the Loong Tong (going to the field) Festival.
Although the weather was cold, from early morning, many people and leaders of the district and district-level departments and branches, leaders of commune-level departments and branches, along with all the secretaries and village chiefs in the whole Chau Hanh commune, were excited to come here to attend. At the festival, each product offered to the Thanh Hoang has a meaning, showing the harmony of heaven and earth, the result of the labor of hard-working, diligent hands, to thank the gods for always protecting and protecting the villagers to have favorable and bountiful production and a prosperous life. The offerings to the gods were made by Thai women according to traditional customs such as banh chung, banh it without filling and various types of moc made from shrimp, fish... After the incense offering ceremony of the district leaders and the shaman's prayer to the gods, the villagers elected a person to be yoked to a strong buffalo to plow a furrow to start a year of production for farmers.
