Quy Chau: Competition to learn about socio-economic development plans at commune level

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 6, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district organized the final round of the contest to learn about people's participation in the 2014 commune-level socio-economic development plan.

Short story "I participate in socio-economic development planning" of Chau Thang commune team

There are 40 contestants from 4 units that have achieved excellent results in the contest to learn about people's participation in the socio-economic development plan at the commune level in the past 3 clusters: Chau Hanh, Chau Thang, Dien Lam communes and Tan Lac town. The contestants have to go through 3 parts: greeting, knowledge and talent. In the greeting part, the teams introduce themselves about the poverty reduction project (POIS) and the development fund in Quy Chau district with an art performance. In the knowledge part, the teams have to draw lots to answer 10 questions related to knowledge of planning for socio-economic development at the commune level with the participation of the rights and interests of people participating in the local economic development planning process.

In the talent section, teams choose their own poetry and folk songs... with the theme of people participating in the process of making, implementing and monitoring socio-economic development plans at the commune level.

Awarding prizes to the winning units

The contest aims to promote the human factor in the process of exercising their mastery rights in building new rural areas and planning socio-economic goals in localities.

Results: First prize went to Dien Lam commune; second prize went to Chau Thang and third prize went to Tan Lac town. The organizing committee also awarded the style prize to Chau Hanh commune.
