Quy Chau: Organizing the contest "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps"

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to widely propagate to union members and young people about Uncle Ho's life, career and lifestyle, on the afternoon of March 27, 2014, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Quy Chau District High School organized the contest "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps".

Participating in the contest were 3 teams (Kim Lien - Pac Bo Forest Team and Ben Nha Rong Team) with 18 contestants representing 1,200 students in the 10th and 11th grades in the whole school. The contestants had to go through 4 rounds: Greeting, knowledge, talent and storytelling. In the knowledge round, the contestants had to answer 15 questions with content revolving around knowledge about Uncle Ho's childhood, background, family, hometown, learning process and journey to find a way to save the country, in each stage.

Awarding prizes to the winning team

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Pac Bo Forest team, the second prize to the Ben Nha Rong team, and the third prize to the Kim Lien team.

Through the contest, the Organizing Committee realized that the union members and youth of the School have invested, studied and absorbed a lot of knowledge about the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho. The comrades have shown their love and affection for Uncle Ho through expressing their enthusiasm, love and actively participating in the contest. This shows a strong change in the awareness of union members and youth in implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo and propaganda work about the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho as well as promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example of Quy Chau District High School.
