According to the assessment of the District HIV/AIDS Prevention Center, the pattern of HIV/AIDS infection in the district is changing. Recently, the number of HIV/AIDS infections in high-risk groups has shown signs of decreasing, but the number of infections in the community has increased significantly.
Faced with that situation, the District Health Center has proactively coordinated with the Health Stations of communes and towns to increase the organization of mobile communication campaigns and HIV/AIDS counseling and testing in localities in the district.
Up to this point (December 16), Quy Chau District Medical Center has organized mobile communication and free testing consultation for 2,132 subjects in 12 communes and towns. This activity shows that, not only to detect infected people early to help them proactively prevent HIV/AIDS infection to their relatives and the community, but this is also an activity that actively supports the Quy Chau Health Sector in developing a propaganda plan and organizing intervention activities to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS infection in the coming time.
