Regulations on grading and testing of the subject of National Defense and Security Education

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued regulations on grading when testing the National Defense and Security Education Subject Regulations (GDQP-AN).

Accordingly, a total score of 100 is calculated for the following contents: System of documents managing and directing the content of the National Defense and Security Education subject (including implementation guidance documents of all levels and documents issued by the level itself) - 10 points.

Implementing the content, program, curriculum, lesson plans, registration system, and teaching plan for the subject of National Defense and Security Education - 15 points (for departments of education and training and vocational schools, 20 points).

Number and quality of qualified teachers and lecturers – 20 points; Investment in facilities, equipment, construction of specialized warehouses, lecture halls, training grounds, training grounds... for the subject of National Defense and Security Education – 20 points; Teaching practice results of teachers and lecturers – 10 points; Results of student awareness tests – 10 points.

Management work, procedures for issuing certificates for National Defense and Security subjects (for higher education institutions) - 5 points; Classroom and study attire of teachers, lecturers and students - 5 points; Collection and use of tuition fees, implementation of policies for teachers and lecturers - 5 points.

Facilities scoring below 50 points are not qualified. From 50 to 69 points: Qualified; From 70 to 89 points: Fair; From 90 points and above: Excellent.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the purpose of the inspection is to evaluate the organization of teaching and learning of the subject of National Defense and Security Education; the quality of direction and organization of teaching of the subject in the past time.

Based on the actual inspection of each content and the total score according to the prescribed table, the inspection conclusion is determined, thereby accurately assessing the level of task completion of each unit; promptly drawing experience in management, direction and improving the quality of teaching and learning of the subject of National Defense and Security Education at schools; the facilities propose policies and measures to continue directing, deploying and effectively implementing the work of National Defense and Security Education in the following years.
