New regulations on admission to police schools in 2017

Many candidates wishing to apply to People's Public Security Universities (Public Security) are concerned about how to register for admission to schools in this field: Besides participating in the preliminary selection at the local police, how is the registration for the exam and admission carried out?

In fact, in previous years, there were cases where candidates registered for admission to police schools but did not register for the national high school exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, so when the national high school exam date was approaching, they received a request to be added to the list of candidates for the national high school exam. This caused difficulties for the organization of the exam by the units assigned to preside over the exam and the management and guidance of the police at the preliminary selection site.

On February 20, information from the Department of Training - Ministry of Public Security said that to overcome this problem, in 2017, in addition to the application documents for admission to the Police Academy as every year, candidates applying for admission to the Police Academy will be given an additional application form for the national high school exam and admission to universities and colleges according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training. The application documents for admission to the Police Academy will be received by the police where the preliminary selection is conducted.

The application form for the national high school exam and university and college admission according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training will be submitted at the high school where the candidate is studying (for candidates studying grade 12 and taking the exam for graduation recognition in 2017) or the application receiving point as prescribed by the Department of Education and Training of the province or city for other candidates.

The Department of Training instructs that if candidates have determined that they wish to apply for admission to a police academy or university (training according to the quota of the Ministry of Public Security), they must declare on the registration form for the national high school exam and admission to universities and colleges according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training the name of the police academy or university, the major for admission, and the combination of admissions registered for at the first wish (highest wish) on the form. For the remaining wishes (2, 3, 4, 5...), candidates register for non-police schools or the civil system of police schools according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Candidates who do not pass their first choice (highest choice) to the Police Academy or University will be considered for admission to the next choices to non-police schools or the civil system of the Police Academy according to the order of priority of the registered choices.
