Regulations and instructions for the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Measurement
The Prime Minister has just signed and issued Decree No. 86/2012, detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Measurement.
The Decree consists of 5 Chapters and 20 Articles on general provisions, measurement units, methods of determining illegal profits from violations of laws on measurement, State inspection of measurement and implementation provisions.

Decree No. 86/2012, detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Measurement, is also issued with 6 appendices. These are the appendix on Derived measurement units; Establishment of decimal multiples and decimal subdivisions of measurement units; Measurement units according to international practice; Special specialized measurement units, measurement units according to domestic practice; Presentation of legal measurement units and Conversion of some other measurement units according to legal measurement units.
This Decree takes effect from December 15, 2012. The Minister of Science and Technology is responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of this Decree.
Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of Government agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
