Regulations on the number of commune-level commanders and deputy commanders and policies for village team leaders

(Baonghean) -Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 35/2012QD.UBND dated May 29, 2012 on the number of commanders and deputy commanders of commune-level military commands in Nghe An province.

According to this decision, each commune, ward, and town is assigned 1 deputy commander of the commune military command; for communes of type 1, type 2, and key communes in terms of security and defense, 2 deputy commanders of the commune military command are assigned. These are non-professional cadres and receive a monthly allowance equal to 1.0 of the common minimum wage according to Resolution 314/2010 NQ-HDND of the People's Council of Nghe An province. If the deputy commander of the commune military command participates in voluntary social insurance, he/she will be supported with 50% of the monthly contribution with the monthly income registered for social insurance during the time holding the position of deputy commander of the commune military command. This decision also clearly states that the monthly allowance for village team leaders is at the following levels:

Village team leaders of hamlets and villages of type 1: 0.6 and type 2: 0.55 of the general minimum wage; Village team leaders of hamlets and villages of type 3 and unclassified hamlets and villages: 0.5 of the general minimum wage. For the militia and self-defense force when mobilized for duty, they will receive allowances according to the Law on Militia and Self-Defense.

This Decision is implemented and applied from July 1, 2012.
