Detailed planning of both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo boulevard ensures romance and modernity

(Baonghean.vn) - Planning both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo boulevard with both realistic and romantic ideas, creating a commercial, service and tourism route, creating momentum for expanding Vinh - Cua Lo to become a modern urban area, comparable to the economic development center of the North Central region.

The meeting heard BRG representatives present the detailed planning project of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard. According to the consultant, this is a plan for a boulevard, not a normal road, so the locality needs to respect the planning designation. The route is more than 10km long, with a planning area of ​​1,333ha, with 3 horizontal connecting routes, designed with the idea of ​​a smart city, green city, and tourism.

The route is divided into 5 areas: Commercial area, commercial and research and development area, training area, green space area and commercial area combined with tourism.

The proposed route has two welcoming urban towers, with stations, subways, supermarkets, conference centers, hospitals, villas, and urban areas. The two ends of the route have a higher density of buildings than the middle part.

At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the function and designation of the plan. Architect Tran Ngoc Chinh said that this is an extremely important project, attracting the interest of many investors. The plan needs to ensure green traffic routes, connecting important urban centers of Nghe An, which will connect to Cua Lo in the future.

The route leads to the sea, Lam River and the airport and welcomes Ha Tinh, connecting with the North - South. This is an axis with the function of commercial tourism services.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed: Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard is the dynamic and growth pole of the province, connecting Vinh city with Cua Lo city, which is of great significance in the socio-economic development of Nghe An. The route was started this year; the detailed planning of both sides is of great significance for attracting investment and creating new land for exploitation, contributing to the development of Vinh city by 2020 to become the North Central Center and developing tourism of the province.

Planning consultants and localities need to participate in giving opinions. Nghe An will closely coordinate to ensure the planning is aesthetically pleasing and serves well for the socio-economic development of Nghe An. The Provincial People's Committee directs the Departments to establish professional groups to give opinions and feedback from the beginning. It is recommended that Vinh City and Cua Lo actively participate so that the planning can soon become a reality.

The Provincial Party Secretary also said: At the end of the road there is a golf course and another golf course is about to be built, so the consultant should consider including these two golf courses in the planning. Regarding the buffer zone and green space, it is necessary to carefully calculate to ensure ecological area. In the planning near Vinh city, there is a need to develop more in terms of trade and finance.

The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that the planning needs to take into account the storms of the Central region. Investment in building hospitals at the line needs to be considered when the city already has two large hospitals on Le Nin Street. The Provincial Party Secretary also said that some residential areas should be left intact to ensure stability and preserve cultural, historical and traditional values.
