Quy Hop: Proactive in fire prevention and control
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to be proactive in forest protection and raise awareness among people, on the morning of June 29, in Chau Thanh commune, the People's Committee of Quy Hop district coordinated with the local Forest Protection Management Board to organize a forest fire prevention and control drill.

Hypothetical situation: a fire broke out in the forest of Pieng Luong village - a mountainous area with many precious woods and thick vegetation. Immediately after discovering the fire, the forces approached and focused all human and material resources to extinguish the fire. After 30 minutes, the fire was completely controlled, causing no loss of life or forest resources.

| Firefighting forces with the motto "4 on-site" |
Through this exercise, we aim to further enhance the spirit of vigilance, coordination mechanism, management and implementation of the "4 on-site" motto in forest fire prevention. In particular, Chau Thanh is a mountainous commune of Quy Hop district with 7,500 hectares of natural land, of which 6,200 hectares are forests.
