For Vietnamese Stature Fund: 10-year journey of 'creating change'
Following the "Order from the Heart", over the past 10 years, the Fund for Vietnamese Stature has created a meaningful journey, with many noble gestures, accompanying and sharing with many disadvantaged people.
"Commands from the Heart"
This September, Typhoon Yagi - the strongest typhoon in the past 30 years in the East Sea, along with its circulation, caused heavy damage to people and property in the northern mountainous provinces.
Amidst the panic, chaos, and pain, Labor Hero Thai Huong and the Fund for Vietnamese Stature launched a fundraising campaign for people in flooded areas, and directly in Yen Bai province to provide practical support imbued with humanity. By the end of October, the Fund had donated 7 billion VND to support necessities, repair houses and schools, contributing to rebuilding people's lives after the flood.

"Orders from the Heart" - such urgent and practical campaigns have been continuously implemented by the Fund over the past decade. Timely support and noble gestures have been provided, adding to the belief in good things.
“Today is a happy day, you will soon have a new house, don't cry anymore”. Recalling the emotional words of Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, during her visit to the family of an elderly war invalid infected with Agent Orange in Quang Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province, to have another look back at the acts of kindness that the officers and employees of the Fund "For Vietnamese Stature", TH Group and Bac A Bank, under the guidance of Ms. Thai Huong, have given to people in difficult circumstances in the Central region, which is still full of hardships.

In the days of October 2 years ago, the Fund supported the construction of a spacious and sturdy house for the family of an old war invalid, who had many cruel consequences of the war. The tears of a man who had experienced war while still using an oxygen tank to breathe were probably an unforgettable impression for the staff of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature, TH Group and Bac A Bank, during the volunteer trip in Nghe An that day.

In the midst of everyday life full of difficulties, disadvantages, and misfortunes... understanding the limited resources of each individual and each organization, the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature has chosen for itself a path, a noble mission to create sustainable changes for each life, each community, and the whole society.
“Wherever there are difficulties and hardships, there are Bac A Bank and TH Group” - that heart has been the bright “compass” for many years for the “For Vietnamese Stature” Fund, Bac A Bank and TH Group to have many noble acts, accompanying and sharing with the disadvantaged.
A meaningful journey
On November 15, 2024, in Hanoi, the 10th Anniversary of the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature took place. This is considered a beautiful milestone, with recognition from the Government and ministries and branches for the persistent efforts over the past 10 years of "understanding and creating change" to spread human values and promote sustainable solutions for a developing Vietnam of the Foundation. And especially, the gratitude of many disadvantaged people who have received warm and sharing gestures.

The Vietnam Stature Foundation (VSF), established on December 16, 2014 under Decision No. 1288/QD-BNV of the Ministry of Home Affairs, is a non-profit social fund that contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supports the community in the field of health protection and care for people, especially prioritizing children in difficult circumstances; sponsors and builds programs to develop intelligence, talent, and education, contributing to the development of stature, physical strength, and intelligence for Vietnamese people.

Rising as a young, professional, pioneering social organization with many creative solutions, over the past 10 years the Fund has developed rapidly and strongly, flourishing in all aspects.
Persistent with the mission of “For Vietnamese stature”, a series of practical programs have gradually realized the desire to contribute to improving the stature, physical strength and intelligence of Vietnamese people, in which the top priority is children. Donating hundreds of schools, bridges, and roofs to disadvantaged areas and many other timely supports to the people are the clearest evidence of this meaningful journey.

These are the happy, spacious schools that replace temporary classrooms; the bridges and solid roads to school that replace wooden bridges and bamboo slats; the women who change their position in the family thanks to proactive livelihoods from interest-free loans; the disadvantaged children whose dreams are given wings, or the representatives of the young generation who confidently become factors of change in the communities where they live...
Hero of Labor in the renovation period Thai Huong - General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Founder, Chairman of the Strategy Council of TH Group, also founder - Chairman of the Strategy Council of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature:
As a patriotic national entrepreneur with outstanding thinking, steadfast character and a compassionate and kind heart, she has always led her staff to take the lead in charity activities. Always silently helping and lifting up countless fates and lives as well as supporting the takeoff of many meaningful careers; at the same time, spreading that noble gesture to attract many people in society to join hands to contribute and accompany the Fund for Vietnamese Stature on the path to carry out seemingly simple but extremely great tasks.

Over the past 10 years, persistently pursuing the mission of “For Vietnamese stature”, the Fund has implemented a series of practical programs, gradually contributing to improving the stature, physical strength and intelligence of Vietnamese people, in which the first priority is school-age children - the golden age that determines 86% of a person's maximum height.
The School Milk Model in Nghe An is one of the first major and continuous activities initiated by the Fund and TH Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Training, and international independent experts. It creates a foundation for the Government to issue Decision 1340 on implementing the National School Milk Program.

From that premise, the pilot model of "School meals ensuring proper nutrition combined with increased physical activity for Vietnamese children, pupils and students" was deployed in 10 provinces and cities nationwide representing 3 regions, in 5 ecological zones, in which school meals are served with standard fresh milk. This is the scientific and practical basis for replicating the model nationwide, contributing to the implementation of policy proposals, and is the basis for the Government to submit to the National Assembly to enact the Law on School Nutrition.
With the initiative "Social Mother" - For Vietnamese Stature Fund is a bridge connecting social resources to support poor children to drink school milk every day as well as have nutritious school meals. The Fund and TH Group have contributed hundreds of billions of VND for all children to drink milk, regardless of rich or poor.

Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature said: "For Vietnamese Stature" has become a symbol of solidarity and compassion. The stories and achievements of the Fund have aroused and nurtured the culture of sharing and volunteering in the community. "For a Vietnamese Stature - Connecting the community - Arousing and nurturing humanity" is the core value, the driving force for all our activities. In the next 10 years, the goal of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature is to become the leading social fund in Vietnam operating in the fields of school health care, child protection and women's development.

To achieve this, the Fund will continue to maintain and effectively promote target programs and key projects, playing an active role in promoting policies related to the development of school health and nutrition for Vietnamese people, contributing to the realization of the national target program on improving the stature of Vietnamese people by 2030 and beyond.
We continue to effectively play the role of a bridge with stakeholders to mobilize and manage resources, and connect networks at the regional and international levels to learn advanced models in community development activities and raise funds from domestic and foreign sources.
The Fund's activities always focus on the needs of beneficiaries, aiming for long-term support, ensuring sustainability for the community. Over the past 10 years, hundreds of partners, hundreds of thousands of individual and corporate sponsors and 1 million volunteers have chosen to act "For True Happiness" with the Fund in the journey of joining hands and spreading humanistic values; creating changes for 11 million beneficiaries, including 5 million children and 2 million young people; creating changes for many schools, villages and lands that the Fund has passed through.
The 10-year journey of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature is a story of continuous efforts, taking "understanding" as the core to create sustainable "change". The Fund for Vietnamese Stature is proud to enter the new decade with a commitment to continue expanding projects, connecting more resources to develop the community.
