Decision to audit the poverty reduction support program in Nghe An province

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, July 6, the People's Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the State Audit Office of Region 2 to announce the decision to audit the program to support rapid and sustainable poverty reduction for poor districts (according to Resolution 30a of the Government) and the policy to support poor households in housing (according to Decision 167 of the Prime Minister) in the province.

The audit objectives and contents are to confirm the accuracy and truthfulness of accounting data and reports on the settlement of funding sources to implement programs and policies. Evaluate compliance with the law on the implementation of support policies, beneficiaries, construction investment management regimes, financial and accounting management regimes, regulations on management and use of capital sources of programs and policies. The implementation status of objectives and contents of programs and policies; evaluate principles and effectiveness of capital mobilization and integration. Determine individual and collective responsibilities and recommend handling of violations according to the provisions of law.

Region 2 Audit announced the decision to audit the implementation of Resolution 30a and Decision 167.

In Nghe An, there will be a comprehensive audit at 18 relevant departments, branches and sectors and a detailed audit according to the Resolution 30a program in the districts of Ky Son, Que Phong, Tuong Duong, and an audit of the housing support policy for poor households according to Decision 167 of the Government in the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Tan Ky, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Dien Chau and Nghi Loc.

The audit period started on July 9, 2012.
