More drastic in resolving cases directed by the Standing Provincial Party Committee

According to the assessment, in October, the political security situation in the province was stable; all levels and sectors in the Bloc completed their assigned tasks. After listening to the general report on the situation, the delegates gave their opinions on the resolution of some long-standing and complicated cases.

For example, the case related to the Project of a complex of hotels, supermarkets, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and housing.Minh KhangIn Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city), the relevant agencies and departments are still actively investigating and consolidating the dossier. Regarding some problems in the process of handling the case, it is recommended that the relevant departments and branches report specifically for resolution. Regarding the Truong Son Urban Area Project, there are also problems, currently waiting for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to issue a response document.

As for the violation related to the socio-economic support project for ethnic minoritiesOh Du, The provincial police will consolidate the dossier and have a separate report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for resolution. The provincial police leaders also requested the Forestry force and related departments to step up inspection, mobilize and propagate people to properly implement the provisions of the law on raising, transporting and trading rare animals.

After the discussion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong acknowledged the positive results of the work in October, including ensuring absolute safety for the Provincial Party Congress. In the field of fighting against all kinds of crimes, especially drug crimes, the forces have achieved high efficiency. Some cases directed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to monitor have been handled such as: violations at Nghi Van Secondary School; violations related to Nghi Van and Nghi Kim canal projects; many difficult and complicated cases have been accelerated. The work of advising, reviewing, appraising and giving opinions on legal documents of ministries and branches continues to be done promptly.

Besides, there are some issues that need to be noted, that is, traffic accidents are increasing in terms of number of cases, deaths and injuries; some cases are still behind schedule and need to be resolute in the direction of superiors towards subordinates.

In October 2020, there were 81 cases of crimes against social order, killing 5 people, injuring 28 people, causing damage of 2.7 billion VND. Drug crimes were detected and arrested 109/155 subjects, seizing nearly 24kg of various drugs. In the economic and environmental fields, the authorities also detected and arrested 331 cases/352 subjects, seizing 231kg ​​of firecrackers, 31 tons of animals and many smuggled goods of unknown origin. During the month, there were also 32 traffic accidents, killing 20 people, injuring 25 people. 74/319 subjects were detected gambling.

Regarding the key tasks for next November, we request all levels and sectors to pay close attention to flood and storm prevention and control, and be ready to respond, especially to landslides, flash floods, and flash floods in mountainous and midland areas.
