(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the regulations on meeting with voters before the 9th session, on the morning of April 22, 2015, at Dien Tho commune, Dien Chau district, National Assembly delegates at Election Team No. 5 including Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Committee and Ms. Le Thi Tam - President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province met with voters of 5 communes of Dien Chau district.

Overview of the voter meeting in Dien Tho commune

Dien Tho is a purely agricultural commune in the South of Dien Chau district (in the cluster there are also Dien Phuc, Dien Loc, Dien Loi and Dien Cat communes). In recent years, Dien Tho has made many efforts in socio-economic development, improving people's lives. Average income in 2015 was about 25.5 million VND/person; the commune has 22 hamlets with 8,000 people but only 3.67% of households are poor; has achieved 16/19 New Rural criteria.

Speaking at the meeting, voters of the Nam Dien Chau cluster communes requested the government to pay more attention to the regime for families with children participating in protecting the sea and islands; improve the situation for part-time cadres at the grassroots level to attract young children with qualifications to stay and work in the hamlet; the Social Policy Bank gives priority to loans for near-poor households; create conditions for children to borrow capital to work abroad; there are still many meritorious people in the area but the procedures for posthumously conferring the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother have been declared by the families of the meritorious people, the commune has approved but the people have waited too long; it is necessary to be drastic in reducing the number of commune civil servants.

Road infrastructure is degraded but the mobilization and support mechanism is poor, so there is no source for repair and upgrading; N2 road has been formed but the commune has no clean water project, affecting people's health; after land conversion, re-measurement when issuing and changing land use right certificates recorded the correct actual area, taking into account the origin of formation. The State is interested in supporting people in many areas, but the conditions for medical examination and treatment and the low capacity of doctors and nurses affect people's health care. Strengthen management, supervision, and limit the loss of investment resources when building new rural areas; have effective solutions to control overloaded vehicles to protect new rural roads after construction and encourage people to participate and contribute more...

Explaining the voters' recommendations, comrade Phan Dinh Trac requested departments, branches and localities to explain more clearly the contents and issues that voters did not understand and questioned.
