Quynh Doi received the National New Rural Standard Certificate

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27, Quynh Doi commune (Quynh Luu district) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition for meeting the new national agricultural standards. Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Nghe An province; comrade Ho Ngoc Sy - Member of the Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Head of the Steering Committee for the New Rural Program; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Quynh Luu district and cadres and people of Quynh Doi commune.

In the past time, Quynh Doi commune has focused on drastic direction, the commune has issued many resolutions and specific topics that have created consensus among the people. After 3 years of implementation, the commune has completed nearly 15.12 km of rural concrete roads, 5 km of inter-village roads, 10 km of drainage canals, a 2-storey kindergarten, renovating Noi market according to new rural standards worth over 5 billion VND, a commune cultural and sports center, a funeral home, a stadium campus; the People's Committee's office building with a total mobilized budget for new rural construction of over 200 billion VND, of which people contributed money and donated land of over 70 billion VND, children of the hometown supported over 20 billion VND, and the state invested over 40 billion VND.

The people of the whole commune have donated more than 88,000m2 of land to build rural roads and intra-field traffic. Some villages have had creative ways, promoting the internal strength of the people in joining hands to build new rural areas, typically villages 4, 7, 5... The face of Quynh Doi countryside has really changed, the poverty rate is only 2.6%, security and order are maintained. The Party is united, the people are in agreement, organizations in the political system have achieved the title of TSVMXS for many consecutive years. With the achievements, on December 23, 2014, Quynh Doi commune was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as meeting new rural standards.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards to Quynh Doi commune.

There were 3 collectives and 4 individuals receiving certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 2 collectives and 7 individuals receiving certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Quynh Luu District People's Committee for their achievements in mobilizing to implement the construction of new rural areas. On this occasion, on behalf of the district leaders, comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee presented gifts and congratulated the Party Committee and people of Quynh Doi commune.
