Quynh Lap: Fishing boat sinks, 1 person dead, 2 missing

(Baonghean) -According to information from the People's Committee of Quynh Lap Commune (Quynh Luu), a tornado that occurred on the evening of April 20 caused the ship with registration number NA QL - 2405 TS of Mr. Tran Dinh Hoi in Quyet Tam hamlet, Quynh Lap commune to sink.

At the time of the accident, there were 11 people on board. Very quickly, 8 crew members managed to cling to life buoys and survived. After a period of searching, at noon on April 23, the forces found the body of the son of the ship owner Tran Dinh Hoi trapped in the ship's hold. Currently, the ship owner, Mr. Tran Dinh Hoi, and another worker are still missing.

Quynh Lap Commune is mobilizing forces and coordinating with Border Guard Station 144 to search for the remaining two workers.
