Quynh Luu: 100 hectares of rice infected with brown spot disease
After spraying pesticides on more than 1,000 spring rice plants infected with leaf blast disease, the epidemic situation in Quynh Luu has been controlled, and the blast disease has been effectively controlled. However, in harsh weather conditions, more than 100 hectares of rice in the communes of Quynh Giang, Quynh Dien, Quynh My, Quynh Lam, and Quynh Hong have been infected with sheath blight.

White-backed planthoppers and brown planthoppers have appeared sporadically in rice fields in Tan Son, Ngoc Son, An Hoa and Son Hai communes. The district's steering committee regularly checks developments, directs and guides farmers to spray pesticides in a timely manner to avoid damage to spring rice productivity and output.
