Quynh Luu: 150 teachers recognized as "Excellent Teachers" at the district level at secondary school level

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 14, the Quynh Luu Department of Education and Training concluded the District Excellent Teacher Competition for middle school students for the 2013-2015 period.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training presented gifts to 9 teachers who won the title of valedictorian at the competition.

This year's contest had the participation of 210 teachers from 38 secondary schools in the district, registering to compete in 13 subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, English, History, Geography, Biology, Civic Education, Physical Education, Technology, Fine Arts and Music).

The contest results had 210 topics with good results, of which 30 topics were retained from the previous school year; the written test round had 210 entries and 164/210 teachers, including those who were considered for special privileges, passed. The teaching round had 133 teachers taking part and 30 teachers were considered for special privileges. After 3 days of competition from March 18-23, 2014, at Quynh Hau Secondary School and Quynh Thach Secondary School.

As a result, 150/163 teachers were recognized as “Excellent Teachers” at the district level at the secondary school level. (Of these, 30 teachers have been excellent teachers at the provincial and district levels for many years, and are the core professionals of the Department, and were specially considered by the examination council in the written test rounds to test their abilities and the teaching exam).

Collective awards went to the following units: Excellent award went to Ho Xuan Huong School, First prize went to Quynh My Secondary School; Second prize went to Quynh Long Secondary School; Third prize went to Quynh Thuan Secondary School.
