Quynh Luu: 2,147 young people registered for military service examination

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 28, the District Military Service Council held a conference to coordinate the military transfer and reception in 2015.

Implementing Decision No. 191/QD-UBND dated December 5, 2014 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on calling citizens to join the army in 2015, up to now, all basic military service examination work in Quynh Luu has basically completed the target. The whole district has 2,147 young people registered for military service examination.

Overview of the conference.

In July, the District Military Service Council coordinated with the District General Hospital to organize the 2015 military service examination. As a result, 316 young men passed the examination, including 6 young men of Thai and Thanh ethnic groups; 31 young men of Catholicism; 20 young men with university, college and intermediate degrees.

In the second round of military service in 2015, Quynh Luu was assigned by the province to recruit 230 young men to the following units: Navy Command 120 people; Nghe An Provincial Military Command 5 people; Division 324 - Military Region 4: 85 people and Nghe An Border Guard Command 20 people.

It is expected that from August 18 to 21, 2015, Quynh Luu will issue the call for military service; from September 3 to 4, 2015, military uniforms will be issued at the District Military Command and a military handover ceremony will be held on the morning of September 8, 2015 at the district stadium./.
