Quynh Luu: Arrested truck transporting more than 70 boxes of smuggled goods

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:30 a.m. on October 10, Market Management Team No. 4 of Nghe An, Quynh Luu area, discovered and seized a truck transporting more than 70 boxes of smuggled goods.

According to Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4, after receiving information from the public about a truck with license plate 76C - 00471 driven by Mr. Nguyen Huu Tho (residing in Tinh An Dong commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai) transporting a large quantity of fraudulent goods from the North to the South, the team immediately coordinated with Quynh Luu district police to block the Cau Giat intersection and conduct an inspection of the vehicle.

Upon inspection of all the goods in the truck, a large quantity of fraudulent goods including Chinese-made candies and unlabeled children's toys were discovered. The seized evidence included 70 boxes of various candies and 5,000 children's plastic guns.

Currently, Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4 has decided to temporarily detain and complete procedures to handle the above goods./.
