Quynh Luu: English club exchange
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 28, at Quynh Yen commune, the Quynh Luu Department of Education and Training organized an English speaking club exchange for secondary school students for the 2013-2014 school year.
This activity aims to continue promoting the development of English Clubs in schools, helping students practice their English listening and speaking skills, and confidently demonstrate their foreign language proficiency.
The exchange was attended by teachers and students from 3 secondary schools: Quynh Yen Secondary School, An Hoa Secondary School, Quynh Nghia Secondary School. The exchange content included personal information, picture description, dialogue reading and answering questions, and singing competition. In addition to the exchange of students, there was also an exchange of teachers.
Listening and speaking are one of the weaknesses of Vietnamese students when learning English. The best way to improve English listening and speaking skills is to interact, chat and discuss. One of the places to improve this ability is English clubs. Therefore, the club is the best environment to improve your English listening and speaking skills. English speaking clubs are a healthy, useful and open playground for all teachers and students who love English, a way to improve English skills in particular and foreign languages in general. The English speaking club exchange session organized by the Quynh Luu Department of Education and Training has really created a very exciting, enthusiastic and effective English learning atmosphere with many diverse forms.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to Quynh Yen Secondary School and An Hoa Secondary School, and second prize to Quynh Nghia Secondary School.
