Quynh Luu: Calling on ships to avoid storm number 12

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the forecast, storm No. 12, with the international name Kroas, will enter the East Sea of ​​our country and become storm No. 12. To ensure safety for fishermen operating in fishing grounds, the Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quynh Luu district has requested functional departments and coastal localities to call on owners of vehicles operating at sea to urgently find the safest place to avoid the storm.

Many vehicles have returned to storm shelter at Lach Quen port.

Currently, in Quynh Luu district, there are 1,130 boats with a capacity of 20 CV or more and about 300 boats with a capacity of less than 20 CV. In order to notify and call on boats to come ashore to take shelter from the storm in time, on the morning of November 1, Quynh Luu district assigned the flood and storm prevention sub-committees to directly direct coastal communes; at the same time, through the management system of Quynh Thuan border post 148; information channels to call and request fishermen to take shelter from the storm.

Based on the storm's developments, the Quynh Luu District Flood and Storm Prevention and Search and Rescue Command has called on all vessels to seek shelter from the storm as soon as possible. Up to now, most of the vessels have received information about storm No. 12 and are moving ashore, or seeking shelter from the storm on the islands and out of the danger zone due to the impact of storm Kroas.
