Quynh Luu inaugurated a community house for disaster prevention

(Baonghean) -This morning, November 30, the People's Committee of Quynh Ba commune (Quynh Luu district, Nghe An) held an inauguration ceremony for a community house for natural disaster prevention.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Central Disaster Support Fund, sponsor - Mr. Phan Van Quy - Chairman of the Board and Director of Thai Binh Duong Joint Stock Company, and leaders of Quynh Luu district.

Quynh Ba Disaster Prevention Community House was started on May 18, 2011. The project is designed with 2 floors, nearly 30m long, more than 11m wide. With a total investment of over 3 billion VND from the Central Disaster Fund, supported by two units: Thai Binh Duong Joint Stock Company and Phuong Nam Bank. After more than 6 months of construction, the project was completed and put into use, becoming a community activity place and a shelter for local people during the rainy and stormy season.

This is one of nearly 50 community houses for disaster prevention in the Central region and the 5th project in Nghe An province built from the Central Disaster Fund. Notably, out of nearly 50 projects, 5 projects were implemented from the support fund of Thai Binh Duong Joint Stock Company - sponsored by Mr. Phan Van Quy - a son of Yen Thanh, Nghe An.
