Quynh Luu: Rewarding 5 groups and 18 individuals with achievements in voluntary blood donation
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 17, at the Quynh Luu District Guest House, the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival and the Ceremony to honor blood donors and the Young Doctors Club were held by the District Youth Union and the Quynh Luu District Youth Union in coordination with the District Red Cross Society.
The festival attracted the participation of 530 young people from 82 youth union organizations in Quynh Luu district. This is the fourth time that the District Youth Union and the Youth Union of Quynh Luu district have jointly organized the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival. As a result of the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival, doctors and nurses of Nghe An General Hospital collected 351 units of blood (each unit of blood is 250 ml).

At the Blood Donor Honoring Ceremony, the Young Doctors Club, the District Youth Union, the Youth Union of Quynh Luu District and the District Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 groups and 18 individuals with achievements in voluntary blood donation. The honored groups were the Young Doctors Club of Quynh Lap Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital, the Young Doctors Club of Quynh Luu District General Hospital, the Quynh Nghia Commune Youth Union, the Quynh Phuong Commune Youth Union, and the Quynh Luu District Police Youth Union.
The voluntary blood donation festival has become a regular volunteer activity of the youth union members of Quynh Luu district for many years and is one of the noble gestures, demonstrating the awareness, humanitarian spirit and responsibility of Quynh Luu youth to society.
