Quynh Luu: Signing a credit contract for loan capital for shipbuilding according to Decree 67
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 4, the Steering Committee for building new ships according to Decree 67 of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the district's Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to organize a ceremony to sign a credit contract for shipbuilding loans according to Decree 67/2014/ND - CP for the ship owner's representative, Mr. Truong Thanh - Quynh Nghia commune.

Mr. Truong Thanh's wooden boat has a total value of 9.7 billion VND. Of which, the district's agricultural and rural development bank lent 5.6 billion VND under the Government's Decree 67 loan program. The boat is 26m long, 7.65m wide, and 3.8m high. Mr. Thanh's boat is equipped with a 100% new Mitsubishi engine with a capacity of 829 CV. At the same time, modern equipment is installed including: radar, I com VX 1,700, a transducer and a depth gauge. Currently, the boat has completed 90% of the items. According to the provisions of Decree 67, from the time Mr. Thanh started borrowing capital until the repayment period of 7 years, the State supports 4% interest, and the remaining 3% is the ship owner.

At the ceremony, comrade Dang Ngoc Binh - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee requested that after the signing ceremony, the District Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development should disburse promptly so that the vehicle owners can soon have a plan to organize production and business, ensuring progress as required. For the ship owners, it is necessary to comply with the contract commitments, pay the term and interest according to the prescribed time.
This is the first credit contract to support fishermen under Decree 67 among 24 owners of vessels registered to build wooden-hulled boats and 9 iron-hulled boats in Quynh Luu district. Thereby, it creates motivation for fishermen to stay at sea, develop production, stabilize their lives and contribute to protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland./.
