The ceremony is solemnly organized, including the opening ceremony, the proclamation ceremony, the fish praying ceremony, the great sacrifice ceremony, the thanksgiving ceremony at the procession points such as Dinh Trung, Thoi Temple, Memorial, Yen Thai Pagoda... praying for a new year of favorable weather, national peace and prosperity, calm seas, a good catch of seafood, a bountiful fishing season and praying for peace for everyone and their vehicles on each trip out to sea.
