In a short time of implementing the construction of a national standard school, up to now, Quynh Hung Secondary School has achieved 3/5 standards including: school organization, teacher and staff management, and socialization of education. Currently, the facilities and equipment serve well for teaching and learning. The rate of good and excellent students in the school is increasing and 80% of teachers meet and exceed standards; of which 35% of teachers are excellent teachers at the district and provincial levels. The school's leadership is focusing all resources on renovating and upgrading practice rooms, laboratories, traditional rooms and libraries. At the same time, the playground and training ground are being rebuilt to improve students' physical strength. It is expected that to complete the facilities according to national standards, it will cost about 2 billion VND. Mr. Ho Van Chinh - Vice Principal of Quynh Hung Secondary School said: "The school has consulted with the Party Committee to issue a resolution on education, focusing on building national-standard secondary schools; consulted with the Commune People's Committee to decide to establish a steering committee to build standard schools. It is expected that this year the school will propose to visit some of the newest standard schools with the locality to learn from their practices."

At Quynh My Primary School, many years ago, the classroom facilities were seriously degraded. In 2013, the Northern Food Corporation and the provincial budget invested in building 10 spacious classrooms for the school. In the process of striving to build a school that meets national standards, Quynh My Primary School has many advantages when receiving attention, close guidance on expertise, and investment of resources from the Education sector and the District People's Committee. Currently, from the source of socialized education, the school is actively urging and reminding the Commune People's Committee to survey and inspect the area to start building more administrative offices and functional rooms. At the same time, build and consolidate the school yard, and purchase some more modern teaching and learning equipment.

At the end of the 2013-2014 school year, the entire Quynh Luu district had 61/107 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 90.9%. Last school year, the district People's Committee allocated budget resources to support standard schools according to the Resolution of the District People's Council and saved education budget expenditures to provide equipment for schools, prioritizing schools approaching national standards. In addition, parents also voluntarily contributed 14.8 billion VND, built 78 new classrooms, upgraded and repaired 82 schools, and replaced 2,720 sets of desks and chairs. However, the progress of building national standard schools in Quynh Luu district is still slow compared to the plan, there are still 3 communes without national standard schools including Quynh Hoa, Son Hai, Tan Thang and 5/7 high schools have not been recognized as meeting standards. The socialization movement in some localities is not strong; Facilities and equipment in some schools are still lacking and not uniform, the system of practice rooms and laboratories in secondary schools is still limited, not meeting the requirements of standardization and modernization. Sanitation, clean water and environmental sanitation have not received due attention.
