Quynh Luu summarizes 3 years of socialization, improving the quality of education and training

(Baonghean) -On the morning of November 24, Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a conference to review 3 years of implementing Resolution 09-NQ/HU of the District Party Committee on Promoting socialization and improving the quality of education and training by 2020 and the following years.

The outstanding results after 3 years of implementing Resolution 09-NQ/HU are: The comprehensive quality of education has been improved. Excellent students and teachers at all levels are among the top in the province. There has been determination in directing and implementing solutions to improve quality; the rate of boarding students, 2 sessions/day and organized extra classes at school.

Actively open and maintain cultural training classes, increase mobilization rate, and ensure sustainable universalization quality. There have been many efforts in the classification of students after graduating from junior high school. In the 2011-2012 school year, nearly 15% of junior high school graduates did not take the entrance exam to grade 10 of high school. The results of admission to grade 10 in the 2011-2012 school year ranked 7th in the province, up 3 places compared to the previous school year; the average total score of the entrance exam to grade 10 changed from lower than the province's average to higher than the province's average. Selected by the Nghe An Department of Education and Training as a typical example to expand throughout the province in implementing "3 public"; teaching in the direction of classifying primary school subjects; emulation movement "Building friendly schools, active students".

Other movements have received more attention and achieved more effectiveness. The movement of socialization, encouragement of learning, and encouragement of talents has changed. The campaign to strengthen school and classroom facilities in the form of voluntary activities continues to be effective. The Project of Strengthening Schools and Classrooms and National Target Programs has been implemented quite effectively; the number and quality of national standard schools has increased. The quality of the management staff and teachers has increased; the rate of achieving above standards is high; teachers who are good at teaching at the provincial and district levels are recognized as good and excellent more than before. The movement to innovate teaching methods, apply information technology, self-study, and self-improvement has received attention and achieved effectiveness. It is the first district to implement salary payment for non-staff preschool teachers according to a coefficient with annual salary increases.

Besides the achieved results, Quynh Luu still has certain limitations in implementing Resolution 09 - NQ/HU.Through the District People's Committee's Report and discussions, the Conference proposed key solutions in the coming time to promote the district's education to develop more strongly.
