Quynh Luu: Training on professional skills to investigate fluctuations in labor supply and demand

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 11, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held the opening ceremony of a training course on investigating fluctuations and updating information on the labor supply and demand database in 2015.

During the course of one day, nearly 150 delegates, including chairmen, vice chairmen, cultural and social officers of 33 communes, towns and heads of villages, hamlets and neighborhoods, were instructed by specialists of the district's Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on investigation techniques and methods of recording and updating information on changes in labor supply.

Overview of the training class

Accordingly, the scope of the survey is all people aged 10 and over, households that have registered permanent residence or temporary residence books with a term of over 6 months in communes and towns. The content of the review and update of information includes: Newly moved or moved households; newly separated or merged households; people in the household who have just moved or died; people with changes in general education level, technical expertise and training field; changes in employment status; changes in specific jobs, workplaces, economic types; reasons for not participating in economic activities.

The investigation of fluctuations in labor supply and demand helps state management agencies correctly assess the quality, structure, and employment status of workers in the district, and is also the basis for building data on the labor market and implementing employment policies to help localities accelerate the completion of criteria such as poverty reduction, the rate of trained workers, average income per capita, etc., contributing to the success of the new rural construction program in the area./.
