(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the second phase of the free Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign, on the morning of December 16, Quynh Luu District Medical Center organized vaccination for all students of 35 primary schools. In the second phase of the campaign, there will be 21,874 doses of vaccine equivalent to the number of children of the age group to be vaccinated.

The second phase of vaccination will be organized at primary schools from December 16 to 18, 2014. The school will coordinate with the local health station to arrange a reasonable time and means of vaccination, ensuring that children can continue to study. In addition, the health sector of Quynh Luu district has also arranged staff to supervise and direct the vaccination according to the regulations of the health sector. The vaccination process is strictly implemented from screening examination, consultation, vaccination, monitoring children after vaccination and not vaccinating children who are contraindicated. Previously, the Health Center of Quynh Luu district sent an official dispatch to 33 communes and towns to inform parents of the vaccination schedule and recommended that children eat before vaccination, and that children who are sick and taking antibiotics should absolutely not be vaccinated.

According to the plan for the second measles and rubella vaccination campaign, Quynh Luu district will have over 21,800 students vaccinated, striving to achieve a rate of 100% of children aged 6-10 being safely vaccinated against measles and rubella./.
