(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 10, Quynh Luu District Police destroyed nearly 200 kg of pork fat that had just been seized.
On January 5 and 8, 2018, we received reports from the public that two individuals were suspected of regularly transporting animal fat of unknown origin for sale.

The working group of Quynh Luu District Police quickly blocked National Highway 1A through the district to inspect and discovered two subjects, Dinh Van Tuan (born 1986), residing in Cau Giat town, and Ho Thi Hong (born 1988), residing in Quynh Hong commune, who were transporting animal fat for consumption.
At the scene, authorities discovered 4 bags of pork fat with a total weight of 193 kg that were foul-smelling, discolored, and had no valid documents.Through questioning, the two subjects admitted that the pork fat was collected from slaughterhouses and pork stores in many places, then packaged and sold by themselves.

The district police have taken administrative action against the above two subjects in accordance with the law; at the same time, they have confiscated all the pork fat to destroy it in accordance with the law./.
