(Baonghean) -To practically celebrate the 66th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2, the 66th anniversary of the Cultural and Information Sector's Traditional Day, recently at the district's Sports Training and Competition House, the Department of Culture and Information, Sports and Competition Center coordinated with the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district to organize the 2011 Sports Family Competition.

The competition has 28 participating units with 144 athletes, taking place over 2 days, with 3 competition events: badminton, table tennis and athletics.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 individual prizes. The first prize for the whole group belonged to Quynh Giang commune, the second prize to Quynh Hoa commune, and the third prize to Quynh Dien commune.

The Family Sports Competition is a practical activity to carry out the physical training movement following the example of great Uncle Ho, contributing to improving health, strengthening physical strength for people, and building a grassroots cultural movement.
