Quynh Luu organizes Mid-Autumn Festival for children

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 7, at the Quynh Chau commune stadium, the district People's Committee coordinated with the communes of Quynh Chau, Ngoc Son, Quynh Tam, and Tan Son to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival for children in the semi-mountainous area in the west of the district.Attending the event was comrade Vi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Director of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

With the theme "Action for a society without violence and child abuse" to raise awareness and responsibility at all levels, sectors, families, schools, communities and the whole society for the cause of protecting, caring for and educating children, creating opportunities for all children, especially children in special circumstances, poor children, children in remote and isolated areas in the district to participate in a safe, healthy, friendly, equal and rewarding Mid-Autumn Festival.

With favorable weather and enthusiastic support from the people, the “Full Moon Festival” night took place in a very exciting atmosphere. Hundreds of children, students and parents from the four communes mentioned above and the surrounding areas enthusiastically gathered to attend the Mid-Autumn Festival. The District People’s Committee gave hundreds of gifts to children in difficult circumstances, poor students who overcame difficulties, etc. to encourage them to study and practice well, and not to violate social evils.
