Quynh Luu: Summary of Culture, Sports, Tourism, Information and Communication work in 2014

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of January 21, 2015, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a conference to summarize the work of culture, sports, tourism and information and communication in 2014 and deploy tasks in 2015.

District leaders awarded certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals.

In 2014, in order to effectively carry out the tasks of culture, sports, tourism and information and communication, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district issued 135 documents of various types for direction. In addition to effectively implementing the direction and inspection work, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district advised the District Party Committee to establish a monitoring team to implement Project No. 06 DA/HU dated May 30, 2011 of the District Party Committee on building standard cultural, information and sports institutions by 2015 and the following years. Coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to conduct inspections and reviews of cultural and sports institutions in the district, and propose solutions to the Provincial People's Committee to support the construction of institutions in the coming time.

The district coordinated with the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial People's Council's Culture and Society Committee to supervise the state management of historical and cultural relics in the area. The People's Committee of Quynh Luu district also coordinated with the Ministry's Inspectorate and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to inspect and check the use of inappropriate mascots and symbols at a number of historical and cultural relics in the communes. Up to now, the whole district has 6 relics recognized as national relics; there are 62 sports clubs operating regularly and effectively; tourism revenue reached nearly 9 billion VND; 288 programs were broadcast on the district radio, 48 television programs were posted on the district's electronic information portal; total postal revenue reached over 10 billion VND; telecommunications revenue reached over 180 billion VND.

Also at the conference, the District Cultural Office summarized the work of 2014 and deployed tasks for 2015.

On this occasion, 4 groups and 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 3 groups and 9 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the District People's Committee for their achievements in the work of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2014.
