Quynh Luu: Taking advantage of favorable weather to harvest summer-autumn rice

(Baonghean) -This summer-autumn crop, Quynh Luu district produced more than 9,200 hectares, of which more than 5,000 hectares were summer-autumn and early-season rice. The recent heavy rains did not cause much damage to Quynh Luu, but it affected the yield.

To ensure a safe harvest when the weather is unpredictable, the district and the agricultural sector have directed localities to take advantage of favorable weather to harvest flood-prone rice. Currently, Quynh Luu has harvested nearly 700 hectares. The communes of Quynh Doi, Quynh Ba, Quynh Tam and Tan Son have harvested more than 20% of the area.
