Quynh Luu presents gratitude houses to policy families
(Baonghean) -On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the People's Committee of Quynh Thach commune to organize a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude to Mr. Van Duc Ton's family in Hamlet 5, Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu - Nghe An.
Mr. Van Duc Ton, 79 years old, is a relative of martyr Van Duc Cong, who died in 1987 on the Cambodian battlefield. His family lives in a dilapidated, level-four house, but due to old age and constant illness, they have no means to repair it. In early July, with the support of Vincom Joint Stock Company of 30 million VND, along with the help of all levels and sectors in the commune and the help of relatives, his family built a solid 2-room tiled house with a total value of nearly 50 million VND.
The house was completed and put into use on July 27, which is also a meaningful act, demonstrating the spirit and morality of remembering the source of water for those who have contributed./.
