Quynh Luu gives money to support red scarf houses for poor students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 14, the Youth Union of Quynh Luu district organized a donation ceremony to support a red scarf house for Vi Dinh Them in Bac Thang village, Tan Thang mountainous commune (Quynh Luu).

Vi Dinh Them is a 5th grade student at Tan Thang Primary School. Although his family has been in the extremely poor category of the commune for many years, he still tries his best to study well. Therefore, his academic results are always good every year.

Education Department leaders give money to support the red scarf house for Vi Dinh Them in Bac Thang village, Quynh Thang commune.

To help Them and his family have a stable place to live, the Quynh Luu District Youth Union has allocated 20 million VND from the small planning fund to support the family in buying materials to build a house.

The house has been started to be built since the beginning of August with an area of ​​20 m2, expected to be completed and put into use by mid-September. This time, nearly 40 volunteers who are teachers in charge of the team in primary, secondary and high schools in Quynh Luu district have participated in helping with labor days with Them's family to build the new house.

The volunteer team is teachers in charge of school teams who help build a house for Vi Dinh Them.

On this occasion, the Quynh Luu district Youth Union also presented 3 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash and 20 notebooks to 3 students with especially difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies in Bac Thang village, Tan Thang commune./.
