Quynh Luu: Implementing social insurance payment through the postal system
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 15, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the district Social Insurance (SI) to organize a Conference to summarize the work of paying social insurance through payment representatives and deploy the work of paying social insurance through the postal system according to Decision 1199/UBND - TN dated March 4, 2013.
The report at the conference showed that, in the past time, Quynh Luu Social Insurance has regularly coordinated closely with the Bank and the State Treasury to ensure timely payment sources for beneficiaries. In 2012, Quynh Luu Social Insurance paid over 128 billion VND to 3,835 beneficiaries. Up to now, Quynh Luu district has Social Insurance Payment Representative Boards in 42/43 communes and 2 towns (Quynh Thanh commune has not yet formed payment representatives because the number of social insurance beneficiaries is still small). Each payment representative has from 2 to 4 members working together.
The conference also deployed the payment of social insurance through the postal system according to Decision 1199/UBND - TN dated March 4, 2013. According to this Decision, Quynh Luu district will pilot the payment of social insurance through the postal system. Starting from April 1, 2013, Quynh Luu Social Insurance will not pay social insurance through representatives in communes and towns but instead pay through the postal system of the district and commune.
