Quynh Luu: Commendation and reward of excellent students at all levels

(Baonghean.vn)-On the morning of June 21, the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district and the Quynh Luu Association for Promotion of Education jointly organized a ceremony to commend and reward excellent students who won national and provincial prizes, and teachers whose excellent students won prizes in the 2011-2012 school year. Attending the ceremony was Meritorious Teacher - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district Ho Ngoc Dung.

In the 2011-2012 school year, Quynh Luu education sector achieved many achievements, in which the emulation movement for excellent teaching and excellent learning continued to affirm its long tradition, being one of the districts with comprehensive education quality and the number of excellent students ranked among the top in Nghe An province.

At the ceremony, the Quynh Luu Association for Promotion of Education awarded prizes to 3 excellent students who won national Silver and Bronze medals, 315 excellent students of the province with 34 first prizes, 105 second prizes, 176 third prizes. The Quynh Luu Association for Promotion of Education also awarded prizes to 315 teachers with excellent students of the province, including 1 teacher with excellent students who won silver medals, 7 teachers with students who won bronze medals, 35 teachers with students who won first prizes, 105 teachers with students who won second prizes and 176 teachers with students who won third prizes. The total amount of prizes for students and teachers is 84.4 million VND, taken from the "Education Support and Development Fund".
